While the sources of climate change may be hotly contested, there is little doubt that there have been shifts in the climate. Indications such as the increased frequency of sharper and more severe weather will challenge traditional infrastructure and security design. Allan will discuss some of the challenges associated with the shifting climate and the associated strategic, regional, and weather-related challenges. Betsy will examine the business continuity issues as we face climate change.

  • With increasing pressure to extend the lifespan of infrastructure, this presentation will delve into challenges that present themselves in both the design of Physical Protection Systems and the Emergency Management cycle.
  • And what will be the impacts on Business Continuity?
  • How can security and business continuity professionals be prepared to address the short and long-term threats?
