2022 Student Scholarship Competition Winner
The ASIS Ottawa Chapter 140 is pleased to announce Aidan Scharf, Bachelor of Public Safety at Algonquin College as the 2022 Student Scholarship competition winner. Aidan received a scholarship valued at two thousand dollars sponsored by the ASIS Ottawa Chapter 140.
Aidan’s essay, titled “Onward and Upward: The Future of Business Continuity Planning” was reviewed by our panel of experienced industry professionals.
Aidan will provide a synopsis to be featured in an upcoming newsletter.

More About the Student Scholarship Competition
Students from post-secondary institutions in the National Capital Region were eligible to apply and participate by submitting a 500-1000 word paper in English or French on one of several topics applicable to security in our modern world.
The mission of the scholarship is to support future young professionals in their studies and introduce them to the networking opportunities provided by membership and participation in our local chapter. We thank all who participated and look forward to continuing this initiative.
