Join us for our Tuesday, October 24th Dinner meeting for ASIS International Ottawa Chapter. Our speaker Ken Clupp, CD, P.Eng., C.Tech., PSP – a well known expert in physical security. Ken draws on his experience from the Canadian Forces, the RCMP, and his consulting practice as Director and Principal Consultant at DSB Security Consulting.
Ken Clupp, CD, P.Eng., C.Tech., PSP
Ken is a former commissioned officer in the Military Engineering Branch of the Canadian Forces (CF) and a graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC) with a degree in mechanical engineering.
Ken started as a private and worked his way up to Master Warrant Officer (MWO) before being selected to attend RMC under the CF’s internal scholarship/ officer selection process for serving members (UTPNCM). Before and after commissioning, Ken was employed in a wide variety of technical, staff and leadership positions of increasing responsibility with postings to army, air and navy bases across Canada.
After retirement from the CF, Ken worked for 10 years as a civilian member of the RCMP (sworn member under the RCMP Act), where he provided expert Lead Security Agency advice and guidance to government departments and critical infrastructure agencies on physical security. In recognition of his services to the RCMP and Canada, Ken was awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee medal in 2012. Ken is now the director and principle consultant for DSB Security Consulting and has been fully engaged on projects for various federal departments and agencies.
