About our Chapter
The Ottawa ASIS Chapter was formed in June of 1987 as Chapter 140. It is in Region 50 of the ASIS International regions which comprises all of Canada.
For over 20 years we have have been the voice of corporate security in the National Capital Region and the venue where corporate security practitioners and leaders network, source, and educate themselves.
Chapter 140 finds itself in a unique place in Canada and unique in its member composition having civil servants, private sector, and student security representatives from Canada's capital region.
The Chapter creates an annual strategic plan based on the goals of ASIS International. The plan can be found here.
